Our Story

Built facing the sea it's named for

Malpe has been a working shore for centuries — fishing boats at dawn, ferries to St. Mary's Island by midday, temple bells at dusk. Arabian Shore was conceived as a place to stay inside that rhythm rather than beside it: a small property, deliberately unhurried, where sandstone courtyards and palm-shaded paths frame views of the same Arabian Sea that has shaped Tulunadu life for generations.

We built with restraint on purpose. Every room opens toward light and greenery rather than a corridor. The pool was designed to be as beautiful at 9pm as at 9am, lit in warm amber rather than clinical white. And our kitchen leans firmly into the coastal Tulu repertoire — kori rotti, neer dosa, sukka — rather than a generic hotel menu.

What We Believe

A short list of things we won't compromise on

Hospitality without theatre

Warm, attentive service that never feels performed — the staff know the coast and are glad to share it.

Rooted in place

Local stone, local timber, local recipes. Nothing about Arabian Shore could be dropped into any other city.

Quiet by design

Fewer keys, more space between them — a property built for rest, not footfall.
